Georgia and South Carolina Real Estate Agents - Our Team
Clayton Tillman
Growing up in middle Georgia near Monticello on a farm adjacent to the Oconee National Forest made me a little spoiled. My father was a US Forest Service Ranger and instilled in me a love for the land.
Several early ventures—including construction work and owning a small country store—made me realize that I was yet to find my niche. In 1980, I was introduced to the real estate (land) business. Being involved in large acreage transactions helped me realize my interest in helping others acquire real property.
After several years of working with land acquisition for a small company, I obtained my real estate license in 1985, my broker's license in 1988, and opened a real estate company with a partner that same year. In 1992, I realized the need for a full service land brokerage company, specializing in land sales. Soon thereafter, Land Unlimited, Inc., was launched. After years of experience and several hundred million dollars in land sales, I have earned a designation sponsored by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and Realtors Land Institute (RLI) known as Accredited Land Consultant (ALC).

I was born and raised in Estill, SC. Over the years, my family has owned considerable amounts of acreage dedicated to timber production and various agricultural commodities as well as grain storage facilities and farm supply businesses. After high school, I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Accounting & Finance. The love of land and the commodities it produces led me to a successful career as a commodity broker and former member of the Chicago Board of Trade. After years of life in the big city, I settled down again in the land of my childhood. My love for land made it a natural fit to begin a second career in real estate. My other interests include hunting, fishing, land investment and creating wildlife habitats on recreational properties. Let’s meet and let me help you with your real estate needs in South Carolina.

I grew up in the rural areas of Barnwell and Blackville, South Carolina. Most of my time was spent following my father and grandfather who were both land lovers, farmers, and outdoorsmen. I learned to discover my fascination with land by following their footsteps at a young age.
I graduated from Barnwell High School, attended USC Salkehatchie, and was employed in construction and auto mechanics. It was the love of nature and land inspired by my forefathers that motivated me to pursue the dream of becoming a real estate agent specializing in land. As an agent of Land Unlimited, I look forward to meeting you and assisting you with your land needs.

Though I grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, I spent a lot of time along the coast and in the middle Georgia area around Forsyth and Madison. My family has been involved with forestry and land in the area dating back a number of years. With this background, I grew up with an interest in land and activities like camping, hunting, and fishing came naturally.
I entered the University of Georgia in the business school, but after a couple of years I transferred to the forestry school. I graduated in May 2003 with a degree in Forest Resources and the following summer obtained my Real Estate Salespersons License. While attending school, I also spent some time working for a small forest management company. After graduation, I began looking for a way to combine my interests in forestry and real estate and I believe Land Unlimited will allow me to accomplish this goal.
